Submitting a sitemap to Google Search Console is a straightforward process. Here are the steps:
Log in to your Google Search Console account.
Select the website you want to add a sitemap to.
Click on the "Sitemaps" option in the left-hand menu.
Click on the "Add/Test Sitemap" button located on the top-right corner.
Enter the URL of your sitemap in the "Enter Sitemap URL" field. Note that you only need to enter the part of the URL that comes after your domain name. For example, if your sitemap is located at https://example.com/sitemap.xml, you only need to enter "/sitemap.xml" in the field.
Click the "Submit" button.
